Merchant Ship review - Jessica: I discovered these stories while reading aloud to my little brother. I was impressed by the captivating story lines, the parental discipleship that is modelled as well as the positive interactions between siblings. I also appreciated the Christian character and values that were interwoven into the writing as a whole. These stories captured my brothers attention—one more chapter was his common plea and I was only too willing to oblige. We spent many enjoyable hours exploring with the Baker family. I myself was an avid reader from a young age, and I would say that the Baker Family Adventure series is some of the best children’s/family literature that I have come across.
